K R C E Society’s College of Education Bailhongal was established in the year 1986. Earlier it was started in English Medium School premises, Hosur Road, Bailhongal. Later on in 2003 it has been shifted to a new building situated in a well spacious, greenery area in degree college campus vidyanagar Bailhongal. College runs one year B.Ed course of two semesters. Earlier it was affiliated to Karnataka University Dharwad. Since 2010 it is affiliated to Rani Channamma University Belagavi. It is recognized by NCTE and a member of 12 (F) of UGC Act 1954. College is admitted to grant-in-aid in the year 2009 from Govt. of Karnataka.
